Who we are

Stacked is the trading brand and service operated by Firewood Plan Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16886397). Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.

In this notice, “Stacked”, “we” and “us” refers to Firewood Plan Ltd trading as Stacked. We are the data controller responsible for your personal information.

What information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information when you interact with Stacked:

  • Name — so we know who you are.
  • Email address — for account, delivery and service communications.
  • Telephone number — for delivery and support contact.
  • Delivery address and postcode — to plan and carry out your deliveries.
  • Firewood Questionnaire answers — such as your appliance type, usage level, storage space and postcode, so we can recommend the right plan.
  • Membership and delivery details — your plan, delivery schedule, and delivery preferences.
  • Payment-related information — such as your Stripe customer reference and mandate status. We do not store your full card or bank account details; these are handled securely by our payment provider, Stripe.
  • Communications with Stacked — records of emails, messages and support enquiries, so we can help you effectively.
  • Referral information — referral codes and, where relevant, details of who referred you or who you referred.
  • Marketing attribution — such as UTM parameters, ad click identifiers (e.g. Meta fbclid, Google gclid) and campaign source, to help us understand how you found Stacked.
  • Website analytics and cookie information — only where you have given consent via the cookie banner.

Why we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • provide the Stacked firewood membership service to you;
  • recommend a suitable firewood plan based on your questionnaire answers;
  • process memberships and payments (via Stripe);
  • organise and carry out your deliveries;
  • provide customer support and respond to your enquiries;
  • administer referrals, promotions and the Launch Giveaway where applicable;
  • improve and develop our service, website and recommendations;
  • send you marketing communications where you have consented or we are otherwise permitted to; and
  • prevent fraud, protect security and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Our lawful bases

Under UK GDPR we need a lawful reason to process your personal information. Depending on what we are doing, this may include:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the Stacked service you have joined, including deliveries and payments.
  • Legitimate interests — to improve our service, prevent fraud, and operate our business effectively, where this does not override your rights.
  • Consent — for optional analytics and marketing cookies, and for marketing communications where you have opted in.
  • Legal obligations — to meet accounting, tax and other legal requirements.

Who we may share information with

We only share your information with third parties where it is necessary to provide our service or meet our legal obligations. This may include:

  • Payment providers — such as Stripe, who process your payments and Direct Debit mandates securely.
  • Delivery and logistics providers — where required to fulfil your delivery (for example, our own delivery team or a pallet network).
  • Email, SMS and communications providers — to send you service and, where consented, marketing messages.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms — such as Google and Meta, only where you have consented to the relevant cookies.
  • IT, cloud and service providers — who help us run the Stacked platform.
  • Professional advisers or authorities — where legally required, such as for accounting, tax or regulatory purposes.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations (such as retaining financial records). After that, we delete or anonymise it. If you would like to know more about a specific category, please contact us.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • request deletion of your personal information in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to our processing of your information;
  • withdraw your consent at any time for consent-based processing (such as optional cookies) — this does not affect processing that has already taken place;
  • request portability of your personal information in a structured, machine-readable format; and
  • complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information. You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

You can withdraw cookie consent at any time by reopening the cookie settings above and turning off analytics or marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect your Stacked membership, deliveries, or payments.

Cookies

We use three categories of cookies on this website:

Essential cookies

These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They keep you logged in, protect your subscription details, and remember items in your basket. Essential cookies are always on and do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies

Google Analytics 4 measures how visitors use our website — which pages are popular, how long people stay, and where they come from. This helps us improve the site. Analytics cookies are off until you accept them. Controlled by Google Consent Mode (analytics_storage).

Marketing cookies

Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) advertising technology measure how effective our adverts are and show you relevant Stacked adverts on other platforms. Marketing cookies are off until you accept them. Controlled by Google Consent Mode (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) and the Meta Pixel / Conversions API.

Google Consent Mode v2

We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you accept analytics or marketing cookies, Google receives cookieless, consent-mode pings only. When you accept, the relevant storage is granted immediately and no page reload is required.
